I personally liked the simplicity and comfort of this outfit equally.On a separate note, two things made me post this outfit first although it's more recent. Octoberfest makes the city insanely crowded.&nbsp;Inspired by the story of Jil Sander and the photo of her in simple&nbsp;outfit: black turtleneck, pants&nbsp;and flat&nbsp;shoes,&nbsp;which made me start with my "Mandipa shoes" (Mandipa linked to these Clarks oxfords a while ago). The&nbsp;jacket is navy.&nbsp;I also layered hose for warmth and was so happy I did that - it was the first practical and style-defining tips I picked up on YLF.</p> <p><b>[8.]</b> There IS method to this madness, honestly: I wanted to pair black and navy (dress, cardigan, respectively); I needed the scarf for extra warmth as I was coming down with a bad&nbsp;cold (tried the one with navy tones in it); I wanted a bit more colour (purple hose pick up another colour from the scarf); I belted the cardigan hoping it would work this time with the chunkier specimen AND since it was already wild for what I normally wear why not add pink shoes to add more interest? I am not sure I would repeat the outfit, not because I don't like it - I did and still do, and especially how it made me feel - but this was really spur of the moment and I went with it.</p> <p><b>[9.]</b> Building site gear. I finally stepped inside the actual future living&nbsp;space I only knew from the plans, drawings and my imagination.
