Friday's outfit made its statement all via the necklace and shoes. The coral sweater was a "just in case I get chilly" topper and the tribal print woven bag tied the basic black and coral together.</p> <p>The style statement was made via the sandals and scorpion necklace. I recently bought the sandals (I was looking for new sandals and these are probably the closest I'll ever get to the birkie-looking trend). The fact that they combined both spikes and leopard made them totally me.</p> <p>They also make them&nbsp;in solid black, tan,&nbsp;and crackled white and I must say they are extremely comfortable with the cork footbed and are perfect for folks who have a narrower and low volume foot. I highly recommend them!</p> <p>The sterling scorpion&nbsp;necklace is one of&nbsp;my rarer vintage designer pieces. It's late 70's/early 80's vintage Elsa Peretti for Tiffany &amp; Co. Since it's a such a statement piece on its own I usually give it center stage, as is the case here, wearing it over a basic black tank top with EF harem pants.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Cropped coral cotton and cashmere sweater</b>: Vince (via ebay)<br /><b>Black tank</b>: Gap<br /><b>Black harem pants</b>: Eileen Fisher (via Macy's)<br /><b>Woven tribal pattern&nbsp;Bag</b>: bought from a vendor in the Dominican republic while there last summer<br /><b>Leopard and spikes sandals</b>: Dolce Vita Bodhi (via Zappos, they're on sale for $62.99&nbsp;and have them in black, white and tan, also)<br /><b>Sterling disc earrings and rings</b>: vintage acquired via various flea markets over the years<br /><b>Sterling scorpion necklace:</b> Vintage Elsa Peretti for Tiffany (via a private sale when I was in the biz) </p>
