Beth Ann, I hope you post your loungewear! I don't think I have any. I go home and put on an outfit suitable for walking the dog in (which on a good day involves keeping on what I just wore to the gym) and then wear that till I change into pjs.

I think the lower waist might work with a woven, more structured top, but it's a far less versatile choice to make. Taking it in, if you love it, will make it quite wearable, I think!

Glad to see you playing with outfits! I just tried on about 1/2 of my loungewear. I'm upgrading what I wear at home. It has to be supremely comfy, of course, but only in fits and colors that make me look good and bring me pleasure.

Poor Rachy. Did your butt go away, or are the pants just generally droopy?

Thistle, Sarah, and Astrid, I think I've spent most of my life with most of my clothes not fitting, so I'm only beginning to learn some of this!

Lisa and Suz, I think I might get it altered because I do love it. It was very inexpensive at H&M, but it's holding together well and just might be worth it to me.

Oh yes. When I lost weight, I lost so much that I had to get a new wardrobe. But even styles that I used to love suddenly looked dumpy and frumpy. I was sad because I had to stop wearing wrap dresses. But after a bit of head-scratching and tooth gnashing, I just moved on to tube skirts. There's something that looks great on Every Body! Sometimes we just have to work to find it.

Cute skirt, by the way. No wonder the happiness factor was high back then. If you still adore it, maybe you could get it taken in?

I always get waistbands taken in. If they stretch out over time or I loose weight, I usually donate the jeans because I prefer most styles sans belt.

I agree with Thistle, ill fitting clothes look always off. I mostly noticed my lost weight with one of my BF jeans - they were of course a bit too big in any case and loosing some weight meant that I was swimming in them and didn't feel comfortable anymore.

Skirt lengths can be tricky since some styles can move up and down the torso. Sometimes mine even change the same day if I've had a big lunch. Maybe you can take in the waist so it sits at the right place on your torso again?

You look terrific!

Clothes have to fit who you are and your size today. Ill fitting clothes, whatever your size, never look as nice as porperly fitting ones :)

I was surprised at how dowdy I felt in this, because the skirt had a high happiness factor in 2011 and 2012. When I came home I realized that due to weight loss the skirt is riding quite a bit lower which means that my waist is lost and the length is dumpier. Hiking it up solved everything.

Do you have anything that looked prettier when you were heavier?
