I actually had 3 bottoms available but wore 2. Nursing doesn't require too much different - just not closely fitted (former size) or else it won't be very modest on my current size. 2 cup sizes up does that for some reason. I kind of like being 1 size bigger, but that's not reality most of the time (part of the 30" band size club).

The cardigan blazer was a rare find, I agree. I like the look of jackets - so many retro pieces - but can't stand the formality/feel of no/little stretch when reaching. So I've moved my 3 jackets to the Sunday/dress-up capsule (where I enjoy them) and put a ban on buying more.

We definitely have style overlap! 6 bottoms seems much easier than 1, lol. Makes sense that nursing would require different tops, so I'm glad you have enough!

I never come across knit jackets in my thrift stores. I might start hunting ebay for one instead, as it seems like it'd definitely be easier to fit than woven jackets. Thnx for the info!

Thank you, E! It's fun to read a comment from you since we have some style overlap.

I didn't have to get the jacket tailored; it was from Twice Clothing, size S I believe, by Caslon (a Nordstrom brand?). It's a knit, so as comfortable as a cardigan. It's definitely great to go over skirts, and is my cold weather topper (upgrade from the fleece I've had to wear the previous 3 winters).

I have to half zip some skirts and trousers, but that's what I did in the 1st half of pregnancy. And of course there are several more skirts that will fit when I'm truly skinny again, but I'm not too impatient now that I have 3 more skirts & 2 pants to expand the nursing capsule. I'm still avoiding any slim-fit sweaters, as well, as well as anything cream (nursing might stain/show through), but I have plenty of tops for variety now. I'll just have to tailor them when I go back to my normal bust size.

That jacket fits you so well! Did you get it tailored at all? It's so tricky for me to find jackets that come in enough at the waist to go w full skirts. Anyway, it's fun to see the different coloured tops peeking out on different days, I can't pick a favourite because all of the colours suit you, & of course the polka dot skirt is so marvelous! Congrats on fitting into most of the rest of your wardrobe now; that's very fast.

Yes, more polka dots. I can fit back into most of my skirts now, so I'm looking forward to getting the rest of my skirt/trouser wardrobe back. My Thanksgiving outfit is #3; #5 is today's.
