These look festive indeed to me -- November festive. I really love the Thanksgiving outfit -- moody and luxe and subtle. I also really love 6/7 -- the shape of that sweater is really fab on you with the boots and the pattern of the tee echoes and reinforces the detailing on the boots so they can star without being divas, if that makes sense! Here are my attempts so far at creating a little bit of a festive mood with everyday outfits.</p> <p>1-3: Thanksgiving Day. Big family gathering, but not dressy.&nbsp; Deep burgundy boyfriend jeans (Rag &amp; Bone); charcoal and multicolored silk floral peasant blouse (made by me); black boiled wool bomber with faux leather sleeves (Halogen); black ornate belt (Bed Stu); dark gray crystal earrings (Dabby Reid); black suede booties (Paul Green); charcoal cocoon coat (Lodenfrey); silver cross-body bag (Michael Michael Kors). I felt the deep burgundy color, the floral silk, the silver bag, suede booties and earrings with a very subtle sparkle all felt festive.<br />4-5: Worn for a day off, dentist visit, and family get-together, day before Thanksgiving. Deep burgundy boyfriend jeans (Rag &amp; Bone); gray hatchy print long-sleeved tee (made by me); burgundy boucle long cardi (Halogen); black men's dress belt; black flat booties (Munro, Lexie); not shown: navy trench (London Fog); black satchel (Elliott Lucca, Olvera). The colors and the deep, thick boucle cardigan felt festive to me. <br />&nbsp;<br />6-8: Worn for a day off, doctor's appointment, family get-together. Dark skinnies (Mother, the Looker); blue, olive, red, and ivory abstract raindrops patterned t-shirt (made by me); olive fleece cocoon cardi (Caslon); black, red, blue, and white cowboy boots; navy trench (London Fog); black satchel (Elliott Lucca, Olvera). I was reaching for festive here, with the cowboy boots and red lipstick. </p> <p>9-10: Worn for work. Sage wool tapered trousers (made by me); mauve, sage, and gray floral wool fleece cap sleeve pullover (made by me); mauve long sleeved tissue weight funnel neck sweater (Hinge); ornate pearl pendant (Nordstrom Rack); gray croc moto boots (Donald Pliner); taupe trench coat (Calvin Klein); light gray backpack (Rebecca Minkoff). The floral pullover and pearl pendant felt festive to me. </p> </p>
