Love the cut of the jeans. I think water weight and distribution is a factor. Also if you work your chest and back muscles they might swell for a day or two.

I like your style, and outfit included.

Salt really affects me. I don’t cook with it, but restaurant food tastes really salty to me. I have to drink a lot of water, and I notice weight gain the next day.

Jenni Z yes your right re the hormones, but generally my my weight is pretty much in the same zone give or take a pound or so, so it just surprises how little it takes to change the fit. And then again I do think probably a lot of it’s in my head because generally don’t wear padded bras

Regarding the bra: I doubt notsaf’s answer would be right because I doubt that you are still cycling ( more TMI than you probably want to give) and post-menopausally hormones don’t really fluctuate month-to-month.
So I suspect it must be subtle weight changes.
I like your navy jumper.

Great light blue/bleached jeans - works so well with navy sweater!
Maybe more padded bra works better under heavier knit tops/sweaters and seems less the thing under thin/modal-cotton tops. You look great!

Love this polished casual outfit. I can sympathize with the bra issues--I have a few different styles because some days I can fill them out and others I can't. I think its affected by weight fluctuation mostly--at least for me.

Nice jeans.
Some padded bras change shape at the end of the day and don’t hold up well then. That happens to a bunch of Wacoals that I bought at NAS, I washed all when new because they seemed like a good fit and then I was sorry because of what I mentioned above. Lesson learned: only wash one at the time and put it through its paces before washing the others.

I find padded bars work better for me with higher neck shirts as opposed to open neck ones. Maybe that's a factor? Also, of course, our breasts themselves change shape and size over the course of the month with hormones, so that might impact how you feel in this bra, too.

What's a faux tuck?

Another day another sweater/denim/boot combo. Today’s jeans— straight leg bleached. I love a slim straight but lately I’ve been feeling a more relaxed fit like these jeans. Add a Vneck sweater, faux tuck and sock boots and I’m going to go.
And now the TMI part..and feel free to skip this next part
...about a year ago I went for a bra fitting. One of the bras I bought was a little more padded than I normally like, but I bought it because it fit well. Now some days I put it on and the cups seem to big and other days, like today, I put it on and it seems to fit ok. I don’t really have this with my other bras so I’m wondering if this is psychological because I don’t love the bra, or if My body is shifting slightly by day (more salt on day, more cake another etc) changing the fit.

As always all comments are you and appreciated
