I have floral pants (not jeans unfortunately - couldn't find any I liked and finally gave up) and I wore them more than I expected. I love the open weave sweater with the graphic tee underneath. Unexpected and fun.

I live in a warm climate too and I'm always surprised by the rubber thong flip-flops that people wear with otherwise nice outfits.

Thanks! I had a friend who used to joke that sweaters are my "super power," because I love and wear them so much. My partner now jokes that I'm on a sweater moritorium, and won't let me buy more, because I tend to gravitate to them when shopping.

I love the floral jeans - they were one of those "bought on a whim to try to to mix up my wardrobe" items that I ended up wearing much more than I would've expected

Love both those sweaters, especially the first. I have a weakness for open weave. Perfect for those days when you want to be a little warmer or a bit covered up, but not too much.

Ah, sights seen at the mall. I can forgive the younger women, but at some point we hope we know better.

This weekend, NC had plummeting, cold front temps -- it dropped into the LOW 80s! (27C) *laughing*

Since that's still relatively tropical for many, clearly I wasn't busting out my heavy wools or anything, but for us, it's enough of a departure that I was happy to pull out some layers.

1 & 2 were for Saturday's errands, 4 & 5 for Sunday's.

1/2: Goceries, household goods, milkshakes!
Grey open knit sweater (Outback Red, via The Limited)
-- Underneath is a graphic tee of the ladies of the Whedonverse, for my fellow geeky ladies
Destroyed men's straight leg jeans turned into capris (AE, via thrifting)

3:
What shoes to wear with 2/3? I ended up going with the Chucks for a pop of colour, but it was close!

4/5: Shopping for shoes for the partner's workaday needs, burgers, and the ongoing quest for motorcycle boots
Purple marked funnel neck (no tag, thrifted)
Floral skinnies (Aeropostale, via eBay)
Cut out booties in camel (GoJane)

6: Seen at the mall. The thing that struck me about both of these is how much time and effort went into each of these outfits... Until you get to their feet, when they apparently stopped caring at all. The girl on the left is wearing Toms, and the girl on the right gave up and went with rubber thongs, like you'd find at a filling station!
