I appreciated that you understood the adding of some elements of edge. That has always been my reasoning behind this hairstyle/color and probably with less conscious intention, my eye makeup. There has to be a little contrast thrown in there somewhere! </p> <p>Tricia: the top is linen, so the texture isn't quite as soft as it looks, but it is as light as air! </p> <p>Deborah and Lisa P (my hair kindred spirits): good eye on the hair. My last cut with my stylist who has been with me for years was in December, so my colorist has been cutting it. Right now we are still trying to find out groove together on the cut. Sometimes I love it, and other times I'm not completely sure... I think I have to find out exactly how to communicate what I'm thinking. :-)</p> <p>And thanks for all of the shoe validation. The colors are much more muted than Angie's examples - the bag is more brown than burgundy, and the top is so soft it is almost beige but it has good pink undertones. You'll have to forgive the lack of style in my shoe choice, but I am staunch in my love of these shoes. I feel light as a feather when wearing these shoes and they are as comfortable as being barefoot! They just sort of disappear.
