I love your Sunday night staging system, cjh, and think that is so clever. When I was working, I only did it the night before. I love outfits #1 and #2 and enjoy the way you use your jewelry items, too. You may be able to find some other styling tips for your yellow skirt by looking at some of the links connected with the famous Halogen yellow raisin skirt on the forum. Yes, please keep the tank. It looks comfortable and has a nice fit! Happy Summer (almost)!

Thanks to all for your feedback and overwhelming vote to keep the tank. How about a black cami under it, with a black pencil skirt? And hot pink sandals? Just playing around with it in my head here, maybe will style and shoot (photograph - must be picking up my photographer daughter's lingo) for more advice this weekend.

LOVE LOVE LOVE that yellow skirt! Such a soft colour and pretty pattern. That whole outfit is fantastic! And I would definitely keep the tank - great colour and great fit to go with many things!

And I think the tank is a keeper. Looks good.

Your system sure worked for you this week. I love the yellow skirt (and how you've styled it) best. I think the tank with the white shorts looks nice - add silver sandals and voila. Also like Christianne's suggestion for trying it with a cami for work and then under a blazer (Claire) for fall.

I LOVE the tank and shorts outfit! PLEASE keep!

That brown skirt is *beautiful* with your slender legs and trim waist, and the necklace really marries the top to it beautifully. Perfect combination!

Another fan of the yellow skirt too. So many pretty details in that outfit, not just the skirt --- the gathered sleeves, the dainty shoes, the cute pendant...

In fact, you have a great collection of jewellery shown all through! Cool week, CJH!

I think the ruffled tank is very pretty and still current. If you don't want to wear to work, maybe pair with jeans or denim skirt for weekends? Would it layer over a plain scoopneck cami (maybe in a pink to play off the grey?) to go to work? Just an idea.

I love the black and yellow also - very mod and cool look for summer. Great idea to set up a weeks work of tops/looks in advance - I need to do that!

Love the tank! Ruffles can't be dated since most of the ruffled items in my closet were acquired just last year, and I acquired quite a few. That yellow skirt is lovely! I'm an outfit planner, too so I second all the benefits you mentioned.

Love the yellow skirt outfit and the tank. It must be really beautiful in real life being a fine sweater fabric instead of cotton.

Great summer office wear Cjh! I love the delicate print on the yellow skirt. As for the tank, I don't think it's dated. I have some ruffled things that I'm continuing to wear even though I might not buy them again today in a store. I like that it's a fine gauge sweater and it would be great under a blazer in the fall.

Not much outstanding here except I've been happy with my new skirts (yellow, and navy today), and paired an older brown flared skirt with a different top to follow my low-contrast leanings lately.

I have also been picking out my clothes on Sunday nights, hanging the 5 tops I want to wear that week at the front of the closet. I don't construct the whole outfit on the rack, but I do know which skirt, jewelry, shoes, etc., will be worn with each top. It's saving me time, frustration and regrets every day so far.

#1 yellow cotton brocade pencil skirt, black band bottom knit top, elephant pendant.

#2 brown flared skirt, teal knit top, multi colored necklace.

#3 navy pencil skirt but with a little flared place in back instead of a kick pleat, pink decorated tshirt, navy flats. Pewter tiny owl necklace and bird bracelet.

#4 Opinions, please! I have this comfortable gray tank, a fabrication that isn't cotton tshirt material (maybe like an extremely fine sweater knit?). Here it is not styled. My question is, are the ruffles out of date by now? I haven't worn this much because it's pretty low for office wear and not much occasion for it otherwise. But I like it and could make more intentional use of it if it's not a goner. What do you think?
