Pic#1 is a bad angle and Pic #2 the skirt looks perfectly lovely. I love the blouse though usually I am not a color on color fan unless it's black or white. I also love how nicely the lapis ring echos the blouse. I love the tension between the varied blue in the blouse and more uniform blue in the skirt. You mentioned nothing about the shoes unless I was reading too fast but I think they're wonderful as always. Also, COOL RING. I would prefer to see the skirt a bit more tapered myself, but then it'll get a bit more bombshelly (though if it's only tapered a little it won't be by much). Tell me if you think the skirt is working or whether I should alter it, or just give up on denim skirts... </p>
