This dress I bought purely because my husband came shopping with me and he suggested I try it on. Then I realized it was quite structured and had the neckline I’m looking for, so I purchased it. I never would have even considered it if my husband hadn’t suggested it. It is fitted at the waist which is unusual for me to wear. It also has a round neckline that comes exactly up to the base of my neck but no higher.<br /> Angie has helpfully mentioned that my necklines are often too wide, and I tend to agree. However button down shirt collars aren’t so fabulous on me either....<br /> I think this might be my ideal neckline. The holy grail of necklines...... well I hope anyway!<br /> I think the print works well because the tiny dots have a softening effect, stopping the highly structured dress from being too harsh.<br /> I tried to casualise the dress a bit by wearing a long sleeved grey top under it, black tights and a puffer for the outdoors.<br /> I was sure to wear ankle covering footwear to give a cohesive wintery vibe.<br /> It looks nicer with statement earrings and a wool coat but I needed to keep it casual for today.<br /> Thanks so much guys for any feedback. </p>
