Only Diana could wear this outfit combination and look so adorable and fab.

I don't see off proportions. I see edge, and proportions that are "just flattering enough". The curved hemline of the sweater is ideal as it softens the horizontally cutting line across the body, and your low contrast boots - that melt into your jeans - ground the look and create unity.

Well done.

Echoing Thistle -- I think the proportions are a little off. The purple sweater is maybe slightly too cropped for the striped layer. I can definitely see the purple sweater over a dress, though, or the striped layer with a slightly longer cropped sweater.

I love the sweater. Not sure about the proportions of the sweater with the stripes.

I think our cold front is heading your way!

Kkards, I agree about the cowl neck actually. I think I need to get a better striped tunic. I have kept this one because it's crazy versatile, but the truth is that it's a little too big in the body so the cowl sits a little too low and the looseness also distorts the stripes, which annoys me (it's not so visible here with something covering up the top half).

i love the stripes with this, but i'm not crazy about the cowl neck with the neckline of the sweater. but that could just be me.

Inspired by Rae and others, I'm trying short over long with stripes today. I think my stripes are a little too bold to be honest, but apparently the only stripes I have are bold black and white.
Today's weather is super weird (50F and raining right now but supposed to drop to 15F sometime in the evening.) Not sure how to dress for that! I have a big wool coat and scarf in preparation for the evening commute but I was definitely too warm on my commute this morning.

handknit sweater, Dorothy Perkins tunic, Vince jeans, Dolce Vita boots.
