But it depends on the particular winter. We're insulated from the worst of the temperatures by the lake (I'm in Kingston). Meanwhile, though, we get major wind (so wind child makes it colder) and of course it is damp and icy a lot of the time. At the moment there is no snow on the ground; that's pretty typical. But by the end of December we will probably have quite a bit.&nbsp;</p> <p>These tights are not (alas!) fleece lined. That's my next search. I saw some, but not in this colour. Unlike Debs, I am trying to get away from so much black and prefer non black tights if I am not wearing black.
