I feel like I've developed&nbsp;a decent grasp of seasons/colors (I'm a a deep or clear winter), but the idea of matching the contrast of your outfit to the contrast of your coloring is novel to me. I do know that I do feel strange in all dark colors or all light, so I'm intrigued! I am indeed shorter-waisted with longer legs so we likely have different fit issues with this tricky combination.</p> <p><b>Elizabeth </b>- I would say the sweater runs TTS. I'm wearing a petite small (4P is&nbsp;my usual size)&nbsp;since I'm only 5'1. I tried a regular small as well but it was overwhelming on my frame.&nbsp;The fit is fluid, but not too boxy because of the drape, and I find that it hangs well on my IT frame (medium-large bust and short waist), which is a rare find for me&nbsp;(not too much of a tent effect). &nbsp;It has a circle hem that is longer on the back, so it can also&nbsp;be wore with skinnies if one wants more rear coverage. Your own beautiful high-contrast colouring makes higher contrast easier for you to wear in general.&nbsp;</p> <p>2. The proportions. In my situation, it was the combination of the ensemble's proportions and MY personal proportions that created a problem. Here, your sweater is longer, revealing just an inch or so of shirttail. Plus, you may not have my short legged frame to contend with. I saw on Suz's post today that Angie mentioned that lower contrast layers can be easier to pull off.&nbsp;But the outfit seems kind of dark without the white shirt (and I'm not ready for winter yet!)</p> <p>Worn to preschool drop-off, only to figure out that preschool was closed for Veteran's day...<br />Feedback always appreciated!</p> </p>
