And the poncho is a bit artier as well. If I had a tee dress like that, I'd test combining it with less classic pieces (as in, other items that are less classic than *it*, not less classic than you wore) to see if I could push it in an interesting direction. At the same time, though, I don't always succeed at such experiments. I try to compensate by wearing summer type clothing in fall colors. &nbsp;As in summer, accessories are strategic players in helping me transition the looks. &nbsp;</p> <p>1) Thanks to Una, this comfy cotton dress has been an absolute favorite. &nbsp;Paired it with a new snakeskin clutch that my wonderful sis gifted me for my birthday. &nbsp;Also wearing metallic leaf earrings and sandals with a touch of cream and black snakeskin for an additional print mix.</p> <p>2) Another HOT day. &nbsp; &nbsp;I wanted something to bookend the lighter flats, so I grabbed the scarf. &nbsp;Too hot to wear around my neck, so thought it would be fun on the satchel. &nbsp;</p> <p>I wasn't feeling the best in this outfit. &nbsp;<b>Maybe it has too many classic pieces in it? Or maybe I need to retire the tee shirt dress?</b></p> <p>3) Wore to church. &nbsp;Rain lowered our temps by 15 degrees so quickly put on new rust colored cotton poncho from Old Navy! &nbsp;This is a new color for me and I'm in love! Everything else is ancient.</p> <p>4) Going to a potluck tonight, so wanted to change into pants. &nbsp;Same poncho as 3 and color is off in this light, but the pants print showed up much better in the photo when taken outdoors. &nbsp;Dash of pewter and silver to kick it up a notch.</p> <p><b>I like the poncho, but if y'all think the shape overwhelms, please advise. &nbsp;I might have on rust colored goggles, LOL!</b> &nbsp;:)</p> </p>
