I love both outfits. Both complement your hair and are flattering styles for you. I have no idea about business casual because I haven't had to dress that way, maybe ever.

I think both looks are great. No. 2 flies as business casual here. Re: shoes for the shop, you could probs get by with your Dansko clogs. Not a fashion statement (although I wear mine all the time because of the fussy feet factor) but they are sturdy closed toe shoes that work hard. Those floral pants are genius on you.

I like both of these quite a lot on you Amy! I think the #1 is fun and very spring like and I love that you rolled the pants a bit more. And #2 looks great for business casual in my memory of software "corporate" attire. Adding a piece of jewelry or watch would dress it up just a bit more.

I like both of these! The pink top and floral pants are fun and springy. I like the boxy top in #2. I think it goes well with the slim pants. A blazer might be more traditionally business-y but I'm not sure what the standard dress is in your industry.

Your hair has settled quite beautifully into the colour and style, Amy.

The winner for me is number two, the contrast makes you pop a bit,but it is restrained in effect. Great balance of masculine/feminine in the combo, perfect for shop floor and office in your industry.
Approprio and you might have a lot of colours, and some style genes in common. She has been running a great thread on colour systems.
Maybe floaty top, crisper pants, and a mid length blazer or moto is a good formula for you? And the shoes can be a bit tougher.? The floaty and the nice hair may be enough to carry the femine message.

You look great in that shade of pink, love the femininity of it worn with the flower pants. The second outfit is nice, not too dark. It is a bit on the casual side for business casual. I would wear either a collared shirt/blouse with the moto jacket or blazer with the type of top you are wearing. Also more dressier shoes, perhaps pumps with small heels.

amiable the floral outfit is super cute! Pink goes so well with your hair.
Regarding your business casual, not so sure since I always dress very conservatively when seeing clients, but then I'm in a totally different industry. Depends if you are there for meetings, or to troubleshoot existing system, etc.
I think your outfit is fine as is but I would wear heels and blazer. :)
Do you have a lighter topper to try it on with?

Super cute floral ankle pants! You could pair those with several different colors of tops.

I like your business casual top a lot and don't find the outfit reads too dark. As a matter of fact, I would probably wear black footwear to ground it a bit more.

I love the 'strawberry' outfit (#1). A little necklace, a pendant on a thin chain, would dress it up.

You look gorgeous in the pink outfit. I love those pants and pink is lovely on you,. but I think it is too casual. You look far more business like in #2. I like the boxiness of the top. These are 2 really good looks for you.

I really like the pink outfit on you. You look good in colors. I have no idea what works for business casual, but I think a more blazer like jacket with straighter lines would look more authoritative.

Yesterday I attended a women's luncheon with my sister in law. I figured it was the perfect opportunity to break out my new-to-me floral cropped pants. They're ankle pants, but I liked the length better a bit shorter, so I rolled them. Paired them with pink for extra girliness, and I admit, I liked it. Ran out of time straightening my hair, so it's only mostly straightened, and no make up. Oh well.

Today I tested out a "business casual" outfit (I'm visiting a customer on site to do some consulting on Friday, and want to look like I know what I'm doing, but won't be required to wear company attire if I don't want to). This was okay, but not wow-worthy in my book - the top is a little too boxy, and the overall look too dark, or something (I'm not completely sure).

I'll be playing with the idea of finding a good few "business casual" outfits this week for this type of visit. (I know I'll need closed toe shoes, and I'm not sure whether cropped pants will be okay safety wise, but they'll probably be fine, since I won't be in the shop portion of the building while they're actually cutting steel, I don't think).

Anyway, these are what I wore. Have any suggestions for improvement?
