Yeah, I reckon the longer length of the top really works, but I'm not sure if it would work on me, as it would have to be less fitted, with a bit of belly room. I will have a look out for stuff that works, as I need some more tops to wear and have a better idea of what suits now. I love those trousers, particularly in the second picture, just the kind of thing I would wear all summer

Ok thanks Laura I get it - great inspirational looks for urban hippy look. I think her huge pants work because they are full length & she has a really long fitted layer on top of them. I think t's all about baancing the volume.

What do you reckon Meg?

Sorry struggling a bit with all these trousers - I think your baggy jeans & skinnies are more flattering than these more voluminous looks.

These are trousers I like because they make me feel slim and like I balance out, with my big boobs and bit of a tummy. Forgiving, and also I like the style, I feel like it's quite me, if you see what I mean. Trying to sort out what kind of tops to wear with them. I only have the tops you see in these photos, so need to get some more to go with various trousers.

1. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7.....hotostream
Fitted black top

2. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7.....hotostream
Kind of form fitting but slightly baggy purple top

3. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7.....hotostream
Ruched at the side top that skims over stomach, but maybe too big, hmmm.

4. Different trousers!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/7.....hotostream

5. http://www.flickr.com/photos/7.....hotostream
Combats, I know the boots look bad with them, wondering if the layered tops look works, and also what to wear either over or instead in the winter. Am worried the tops make me stomach look vast.

Much love,

Meg
