A kid at school recently told me I have "beach hair", by which I think she meant a scruffy, bleached-out, growing-out shag. I'm in desperate need of a haircut and dye job. I've got about four inches of brown roots showing. ;-P</p> <p>Aliona, I think the reason the collar stays that way is because it's a fairly stiff fabric (Brooks Brothers non-iron shirt, from about five years ago), with a particularly stiff collar, and the collar is built that way. It doesn't do up all the way to the top; it only has buttons to the mid-chest.</p> <p>Karie, the blazer is just one of those classic ones from J. Crew. I got it five or so years ago, and they probably still make them (or some version). I think it's the "1035" blazer or something like that?
