I rarely get a blow-out and loose curl set, so usually I'm with you -- with curls teased and voluminous all ove rthe place. (My hair is fine and thinner, so I tease a bit for volume, run my fingers through the curls to soften them, and make my hair as big as possible. May I ask what the fabrication on the leggings is? As long as it's something substantial (like a ponte pant or denim legging) I think you're set there. The red belt looks good to me actually, a little darker and more tonal; cognac would pop a lot more and unmute the moody vibe of the look. This outfit feels very French to me. I think it is due to the structured Chanel-style jacket. I can't believe what a fine piece of suiting it is! It's a heavier gauge&nbsp;wool knit, and yet the structure, tailoring,&nbsp;seaming, and shape is just a thing of beauty. (I'd say it's circa early to mid 1960s.) The funny thing is, I have rarely worn it until I started putting together my capsule. And now I want to wear it all the time!</div><div><br /></div><div>I wore it with my floppy black felt&nbsp;hat outdoors because it is raining, but am sans hat indoors. Had a haircut this week and my blowout is still good, so I think that makes the look more "polished" as well, instead of my usual riot of curls.</div><div><br /></div><div>I did lay on some jewelry to add some impact - it felt too plain without it. My only regret is the red belt. I kind of wish I'd gone with cognac, which was my first instinct.
