I would have thought the same with your hair being enough to bookend. Perhaps it wasn't the need to bookend but to make your beautiful strong shoulders look more balanced as that neckline while not really a boat neck may have been widening on your shoulders. I'm not sure. I just can't imagine why you would have needed to bookend but I know sometimes when we dress something looks off &amp; we intuitively know to add or change something &amp; then it looks better but we don't know why.
