I usually use a roller bag and a tote or laptop bookbag when I am carryon only. I always put my crossbody bag into the tote or laptop bag. I also put toiletries in my tote or laptop bag and not my roller bag. The orange sweater is the wrong tone for the red pants I think - one is crisp and one is just slightly greyed. But I will try. </p> <p>I had a backpack and my handbag. I could have avoided taking my kindle but everything else was needed. I had 9.5 kg across both bags and had upgraded to 15kg carry on. Maybe that's why I find it okay for a&nbsp; weekend trip. :)&nbsp; Winter packing in a carry on is really tough, honestly. Especially if you need footwear options. I don't know how people do it. I flew carry on only. It is cold and mid winter. I had two dinners with family as well, plus wanted to walk in a park for a couple of hours and do some work in the hotel.</p> <p>I wore the merino turtleneck and trackpants and sneakers (no find) and coat on the way down and for lounging at home and my walk. The navy suit and plaid top were worn for the meeting. I wore the orange pullover for both meals and for the flight home. Same pants and boots in both photos.</p> <p>I am absolutely squeezed for space in my carry on - I usually check a bag and found this quite challenging. Between toiletries, laptop, book, PJs etc it was hard. If I do this regularly I would investigate a better carry on bag.</p> <p>Only new piece is the Uniqlo pullover - loved the colour, </p>
