When I let out the hem, I decided I liked the cut length. I also wanted a little more taper at the bottom of the leg. So I took a dart at the hem. And to preserve the cut length, I bound the hem with a 3/8" binding. <br />I wore them today as styled in 1, with flats, tee, and scarf.<br /><br />I think the alteration worked. What do you think?<br /><br />1: slouch pants with newly altered hem, worn with metallic flats<br />2-3: pants with heeled oxfords (Fidji)<br />4: bonus Fidjis photo, with boyfriend jeans (Eddie Bauer)<br />5: bound hem on pants<br /><br />
