Thanks Suz. Yes, I will wear the tank with the skirt, and also with a very similar shaded oatmeal and white cardigan. I recently received a box from Thredup and am evaluating all the pieces. The tank and top were both from the box. The main purpose of the order was to get some toppers in raspberry and taupe to brighten up my blues capsule, but those pieces ended up being very huge in a sloppy way and they're not worth showing. I'm happy to rescue this skirt though.

That top really is a pretty colour. So fresh and cool feeling for summer. No wonder you want to rescue it.

I do feel the necklines are fighting a bit, but then keep in mind I am on the minimalist side myself. It was clever of you to think of trying this since the backgrounds colours of the tank and skirt are so similar. Can you wear the tank on its own with the skirt, or not?

I have here a couple of closet orphans. I don't normally keep tops that are very sheer, but I'm drawn to the color of this sea-foamy green, very sheer one. I didn't know it would be sheer when I bought it. So I tried it over a light column of color, in this case with a 10 year skirt that is an orphan at the moment, and a new but used tank that is a very similar color to the background color of the skirt. Do you think it works, or are the necklines fighting too much? Apologies that the picture isn't sharp, I'll need to work on that. The colors are pretty accurate though. There are some sequins/faux pearls at the neckline of the tank.
