That is one reason I am delighted that it is currently on trend to button the collar all the way up! I don’t really do pop-the-collar for work.</p> <p>Also, I had thought I would wear this black shirt with one or more v-neck or crewneck wool pullover sweaters I have. I like the idea of collar interest, and using some of my shirts that have color (or neutral bookending), and layering for warmth. But I have found that mostly that looks terrible on me. Not just preppy, which I like to some extent, but shapeless no-bust look once the sweater is over the shirt. I have a bit more luck layering silky blouses in that regard.</p> <p>I think the v-neck cardigan works better for shaping over this shirt and may try some more stylings with other shirts and cardigans.</p> <p>What shirt-layering issues have you had? Comments welcome. </p>
