They were $100 less and a huge expense for me at the time, too. But I have worn them a lot, and yes, they are comfortable for walking, for standing in my retail jobs for 8 hours at a time. I take them on trips when I know I'm going to have to walk, like more than a mile, and want to look polished. It was great to see people in person and to check out some shops that I had not been into before. A big thanks to Aida for organizing the outing!
