Thanks, Diane! I can't figure out how to embed a link to a photo so that it will show like that! And I really like the reassurance I'm getting that the jacket is wearable.

You've got great legs! Bare those stems more often!!

Love all the variations!

I can see where the jacket may be a bit bigger than you want, but it certainly isn't sloppy big and doesn't distract from the look.

Lovely! You've captured all the light and dark tones and the dappled patterns really well. You look great in all the variations of hose and the two skirts. Love your shoes!

BTW here's the inspiration pic :)

I like how versatile that top seems to be with your bottoms, and the oxfords complement your hair color.

Thanks--I located the Lamport post:
http://www.insideoutstyleblog......ylish.html .
And now I'm finally starting to collect my outfit photos in one folder.

I do love these Ann Taylor tops. I bought them when I was several pounds heavier (they're Ms where I'm usually wearing an XS now in this brand) but they fit perfectly now. I had three, in various prints, but I made the mistake of giving one away before I had them figured out. I would like to find more tops that fit like this, not super snug, but close and flattering, and with the welt at the bottom, but I haven't come across any I like. I wonder if they're not trendy right now?

The jacket is too wide at the shoulders, not just the waist, and I've gotten very picky about shoulder fit, but I'll wear it just for the pleasure of wrapping myself in cream-colored leather.

I may return the brown skirt in picture 4. I'm not crazy about the buttons in front, although I know it's trendy now, and it pooches a bit at the stomach. But it's a wonderfully soft fake suede.

Those are lovely combinations! The blouse really ties all of the pieces together, and I like the tights + skirt combination at that length.

Nice outfit! I like the colors of your blouse and it goes well with both skirts that you've shown. The oxfords go well with it. Pretty dog.

Great shoes. Nice colour with your hair. Imogen Lamport wrote a post on her blog about why photos provide more information than mirrors do. If I was more computer literate I would provide the link but sadly I am just not that savy.
Sweet dog. A border collie tried to herd my Samoyed. He must have thought she was a sheep. Tasha (the Samoyed) would have none of that.

I love the colours in these looks and your dog is very handsome! The shirt is really good on you, and to me the jacket looks absolutely fine too.

Pictures are useful - for me more about shapes and proportions rather than colours. I can see that a skirt hits me at a good or bad place, or that jeans/pants are too short.

I love these shoes too, a stunning colour.

This one comes by chance. I just bought a Calvin Klein suit skirt, in my quest for pencil skirts, and it seemed to naturally go together with these other items. The jacket is too large, I know, but I love the cream-colored leather and it's staying in rotation until an equivalent but better fitting jacket magically appears in my closet. Looking at the photos (why do photos provide so much more information than the mirror?) I realize that the skirt develops annoying wrinkles after a couple hours of wear--it's definitely not too tight. I dared to go bare-legged because of the length of the skirt. 4 and 5 are a couple of variations I haven't yet worn (with border collie).
