I had all these items just waiting to be combined.</p> <p><b>Joy </b>- They just came out with the navy color way, and I'm glad they didn't have it 6 weeks ago as I would have bought it instead. This color was quite a stretch for me. As you probably know, the Lucky boots are a roomy width. I tried the wide width in my normal boot size and the instep was so high my foot swam in them. The regular width was fine for my C/D feet.</p> <p><b>Janet (Jaileen)</b> - Not listening is usually bad, but I actually like the jeans better now. I haven't been able to find a released hem I liked that was the right length.</p> <p>I always used to ignore toppers because I only had practical gear jackets which I took off immediately upon arriving. I have learned how important they are, especially in my climate where I can wear them almost year round (at 6500 feet it almost always cools down at night). <br />And shoes were always black comfort shoes. And no jewelry. The boots were an impulse buy a month ago that I have barely worn as I had no tops in the same tone. My wardrobe is predominantly cooler colors and so the boots were becoming orphans. But I felt very pulled together once I actually tried it on and went out to a casual dinner with the extended family.</p> <p>And the cozy corduroy coat is a deeper burgundy, but I think it works. &nbsp;Oh I just realized my new wooden watch makes 3 shades of burgundy! Or 2 shades of rust?</p> <p>My newish Wit and Wisdom jeans ended up being a bit short, even though I cold wash line dry (and it was pointed out when I first posted them- that's what I get for not listening), so now I finally get to participate in the released hem trend. They are so dark that it is subtle, but I like it that way. I hope the release hem stays around for a while - it is one solution to my occasional problem of petites being a tad short, but regulars not having the right knee break.</p> <p>Thanks to Angie and all the YFLers who have posted their interpretations for the inspiration. No more orphan boots! I have my eye out for the scarf that ties in burgundy, rust, cognac, and navy. </p>
