Thanks so much, Firecracker, Laura, and Mary. I especially like the sound of "Parisian" there!

And it always feels a little obnoxious to bump a thread to thank people, but kind of rude not to, so I never know which to do. So this time I went with obnoxious!

I like your style, Aubergine. This is a week of great outfits. You look fab in dresses and skirts. I really like the simplicity of #1, with its Parisian feel, and I'm imagining it with the beautiful indigo bag! I'm also especially drawn to 4-5; that dress is so pretty on you, and I like the shoes, belt, and cardi you've paired with it.

Thanks so much, Angie and Aida!

I'm surprised #2 is getting so much appreciation, because I love wearing tunic-and-leggings outfits, but always feel like they're kind of a guilty pleasure that doesn't do much for me aesthetically.

Great dress looks! Very fond of #2 (great layering!) and #3 (gorgeous deep colors on you). #7 is also a delightful mix, dig that obi belt! I think I like #5 with the cardigan over #4 without it, the white adds some vibrancy to the look.

Shevia, I'm honored that you have the same jacket!

Jackie, thanks so much! My dirty secret is that I do the big smiles because, otherwise, I just end up pursing my lips and looking down at my phone when I'm taking pictures and it doesn't look great. I'm actually not a hugely smiley person in real life.

Thanks, Gryffin!

Dee, thanks! The dress is from the Gap last year and I like how the ombre gives it a little more depth and less cutesiness too.

Caro, the jacket with the dress is a good idea! Thanks!

These are great looks imo. I love the dress in #4 on you too - how would it look with the denim jacket?

Great roundup! My favorite is the dress in #4/5 - I love the ombre with pattern. It's eye-catching but not overwhelming (coming from someone who doesn't wear a lot of pattern). And you've inspired me to wear something similar to #2! I have a striped dress/tunic that clearly needs to be worn wiht a denim jacket.

Fab outfits!! You always look so happy and it makes me smile just to pop open your WIWs :). You do leggings/denim jacket so well. Then I love the subtle leopard pencil skirt with the cobalt sweater. Oh, but then you look so cute in that brown print dress! I can't pick a favourite! Great shoes too. You are looking super put-together. Well done

Well since I feel compelled to pick favorites when I see a bunch of outfits I pick the ones with the denim jacket and not just because I have the very one in two shades of blue (both thrifted).

Here's a quick roundup of some of the things I've been wearing lately. Nothing too exciting, but the new denim jacket (trying out adding as a Find) and the rose gold flats (from BR, but sold out) are definitely getting lots of use already. There's also warm-weather variations on some of my default winter outfits.

#1: New striped sweater with older skirt that's kind of a warmer-weather variation on my black pleated sweater skirt. I especially liked how vibrant my new indigo bag looked with this, although I forgot to get a good picture.

#2: Casual outfit with denim jacket for thrilling day of working from a coffee shop in the morning and hanging around the house for a new washer/dryer to be delivered in the afternoon. I'm realizing it's actually a variation on Angie's casual outfit formula with the denim jacket, only I somehow managed to get a dress and leggings in there instead of the normal t-shirt and pants.

#3: That tube skirt I always wear, springified with a brighter colored cardigan, bare legs, and those shiny flats. I also remembered I had this necklace -- an oversized gemstone-shaped locket in cobalt blue.

#4-5: A favorite dress and sandals from last summer. I wore it with the cardigan most of the day, so included a picture like that even though my hair is messily trying to escape its ponytail.

#6: Denim jacket, those flats, and the cobalt necklace again for family get-together on Mother's Day.

#7: Warm-weather outfit with a burgundy dress you've probably seen before. I always like how I can wear all kinds of neutral accessories with this. I'm adding the cardigan here and in #5 (the cobalt one in #3 is actually the same style too) as a Find too. It's pretty basic, but comfortable and a good weight for warmer weather.

Comments/suggestions always welcome!
