My theme this summer has been a modern take on Roman Holiday - I just love the long, full skirts, crisp blouses and playful lightness of that movie. </p> <p>As I said in a previous post, this summer is all about wearing the things I have:</p> <p>1-2: The famous vintage 'wallpaper' culottes from my last post, Ted Baker silk blouse, Clarks sandals. </p> <p>3-5: vintage lace blouse my mum bought me last year (it has buttons down the front which I find a bit mumsy, so I wear it backwards, which gives it a bit of a high neck and cap sleeves) , BCBG white pants from last year, Gucci sunnies and black Clarks sandals bought last month. </p> <p>6-8: club Monaco lace blouse, Shoshana white silk skirt (both from last year) and Dolce &amp; Gabbana sunglasses (ancient.) </p> <p>I tried surrendering the waist here to make it a bit more modern but I'm not crazy about the look of it. What do you think? </p>
