Just treating them like gray shoes and not trying to coordinate the turquoise will certainly help me get more wear out of them. I especially like Firecracker's suggestion of trying&nbsp;them with navy. I don't tend to wear jeans with more delicate heels like this often (probably something to do with the fact that both are slightly lesser-worn things in my closet), but I think Suz and Kiwigal are right that it would be a shame <i>not</i> to wear these with jeans, so I may have to give that a try&nbsp;for a Friday at work or for going out to dinner.</p> <p>Sveta and Firecracker, thanks for the laundry sympathies! I was definitely glad I don't have a minimal wardrobe. What's really frustrating was that we only got this machine a few months ago and this is the second time it's been down for a while. They're not the most versatile shoes ever, but they're really pretty. I knew I wanted to wear them yesterday, but I'd gotten rid of the turquoise print dress I'd worn them with most often. So I ended up choosing a very simple gray-toned outfit (#2), with some turquoise earrings (not really visible in the pic)&nbsp;to tie in the colors. The skirt has a nice tweedy texture up close, but the outfit is otherwise much more basic than I usually wear. Any other ideas for what these shoes could go with?</p> <p>In other closet-rediscovery news, my laundry machine was broken for a few weeks lately, so I was breaking out some clothes I hadn't worn in ages.</p> <p>The day of #3, I was going to a baseball game after work in the middle of laundrylessness&nbsp;and wanted to wear Nats colors. Good thing I remembered this old red and white skirt (maybe 6 or 7 years?)&nbsp;that I stopped wearing ages ago, but kept around because I liked the print.</p> <p>#4 features a dress from a quick emergency trip to Target once we realized it would be a few weeks before we'd have clean laundry again. I like the watercolor-ish print.</p> <p>#5 is a favorite dress I've showed you before with a cardigan that also came from the emergency Target run.</p> <p>#6 is the first wearing of my oversized striped top from NAS, which went out to dinner with my VC black tube skirt.</p> <p>All feedback, including constructive criticism, is always welcome!</p>
