I don't want this size to dictate my clothing choices. Stubborn, i know. Also, the slouchy style to me emphasizes my size. I would feel more comfortable with sizing up on the bottom if i felt i was my usual size. I would have worn heels with that dress or sneaks. These sandals are neither here nor there. That white top may need an underlayer to be more opaque and more "white." Also i feel this outfit is a bit unbalanced. Heavy on the white, looks "flat"...kwim? Thanks for the help parsing... I'll be bag ladies for both of you. You can wear the shoes for me. OF COURSE, the outfit has to stand alone and feel fab sans the bag. I walk around in my outfits a lot with my bag, so they are often part of the look. You meant are the white pants too tight - not the red. Well. Personally I prefer skinnies to fit looser all over - especially white skinnies. They make us look more chic and definitely more refined - to my eye anyway. That said, the extra tight skinny is still on trend and very popular. So in that respect, they aren't too tight. It's "a look" so to speak. Fuchsia crash helmet! Check!!  Okay, now that I have somewhat recovered.... 1. Love spectators so much and that crisp shirt that I do not have any clue about pants. I think if tucked I would want to see a belt, and untucked looks good.  2. Tough call. I have a feeling this is one of those where the top looks better in person. Is it well-loved and older?  3. I love the dress. And I love the sandals. But I think a little wedge or heel would make you feel the dress flatters more. If that makes sense.  4. I saw those sandals when I was shopping yesterday...droolworthy! Love this outfit.  #5. LOVE!!   So....let's think about what felt wrong. If it's mainly fit, and you don't feel good, maybe it is time to shop for the beautiful you that is? OTOH, if it's a question of missing something to achieve your aspirational style, then let's consider what that might be. Because there are no toppers, maybe you are longing for a bit of a structured element?
