They are flat and so they do feel flat. I wear some flat sneakers which are flat with ankle pants and summer dresses - but somehow, these feel very flat - I guess it is the wider shape and the high tops. But to tell you the truth, I prefer a slightly higher heel - around 5 cm feels ideal. Most of my other footwear are of that height.</p> <p><b>Firecracker</b>, thank you for the feedback. I agree with&nbsp;<b>Carla </b>and others about the less structured top part of the outfit. I will try with the few sweaters I have and a bomber coat. My 2 cents? You need a little more street style/athleisure up top to balance the look. The pants work - but the blazer style jacket is too formal. Try a slouchy oversized sweater - cream, maroon, black - whatever you’ve got - and the biggest, slouchiest bag from your closet. I wore this outfit for some Saturday afternoon errands and shopping. I combined the sneakers with black cropped rather slim trousers, red jacket and floral scarf. Added a black structured cross-body bag and a pair of sunglasses.<br /> I was quite pleased with the outfit, apart from the sneakers, Lol. I don’t seem to manage to wear them well - they are so flat and clumsy.... This pair of trousers was actually the least bad with the sneakers of all I have tried. Maybe I should just forget about the high tops and wear these under a pair of full length wide leg trousers for a pop of color.<br /> What do you think? </p>
