But I realized this morning that the new EF mixed-media jacket was dark brown and voila - an outfit idea sprang to life!</p> <p>I started my outfit with the dark red EF dress - like wearing a nightgown to work it's so comfortable! I added semi-opaque black tights and my knee high flat black boots for footwear - both comfortable and provides a bit more leg warmth. On top of the dress I added my dark peat wool/leather sleeved EF jacket. I finished off the outfit with my black leather satchel handbag, red specs and red lipstick.</p> <p>Angie - thank you! I never would have thought of this combination without your tutelage and a shout out to Diana too for her "Chocolate and Cherries" post yesterday that provided further inspiration.</p> <p>I think the outfit probably would have looked even better if the boots had been dark brown but I don't have. At least the black boots bookend the black leather sleeves of the jacket.</p> <p>So what are your thoughts on this outfit? Does it all work together?
