The 2" heel height works well for me: it's walkable, but high enough that trousers hang correctly and the skirts look okay. The only problem I've ever had with them is that I once got a pair with bad velcro on the Mary Jane strap. Unfortunately, since I was duplicating a pair I already owned and loved, I didn't realize that until well after the window for returns had passed. Oh well.</p> <p>Greyscale - I like the unzipped look, too! I noticed the spring version and was glad that I had the version that I did. Crew earlier this month, and finally had a chance to wear it today. They don't show well in the low-quality picture, but the zippers are a bronze-y gold, so there's a nice contrast. I ended up unzipping the side zip a few inches to make it easier to walk and get in and out of the car.</p> <p>Since the skirt is so fun, I kept the supporting act simple:&nbsp;a&nbsp;black cashmere turtleneck from Lands End (old), Mary Jane pumps, and my watch. Got a ton of compliments. Next time I think I'll try my moto boots, since they have similarly colored zippers that might play &nbsp;nicely with the skirt's details. </p>
