I love this! I was hoping to see one with a chocolate top and red accents, vs. the other way (and apologies if I missed any earlier ones that did this) ... very rich-looking to me.

Yes, Angie, that's the one! A couple months ago, I was eyeballing the red one but I didn't want to buy too much at once. When I went back to look, the red was sold out but the brown was available, plus I had since decided to buff up my neutral clothes count. The dark brown also works with a recently thrifted vintage Ralph Lauren jacket too, so I am happy to press it into action!

Fantastic. White, red and brown is gorgeous and fresh for Winter, Tania. Your new shorter 'do looks nice.

Is this the pullover? Snap. I have one in tomato red. I LOVE that jumper.

Love this! The Clemency boots look amazing with the straight legs. I love the white bottoms--so fresh and modern. Coat and sweater are killer on you. Love your style!

I was excited when Angie posted this because red and brown feature prominately in my limited wardrobe! Just yesterday I received a new brown sweater. Here is a simple outfit that I wore to my haircut appointment today (what do you think about the hair? I went short again.)

J Crew chunky cashmere turtleneck, expresso

Ralph Lauren white straight leg jeans

Doc Marten Clemency, cherry red

I have a no name small, deep red crossbody bag and some new dark brown leather gloves too, so I can toss those on with my red coat when I leave today.

I'm starting to feel like I can do this. lol. I went to a consignment store yesterday and found an Eileen Fisher merino shell (new with tags) and a pair of Pendleton charcoal wool trousers. I needed the shell to put under an orphaned short beaded cardigan and I was looking for wool pants for warmth during the winter. The charcoal goes well with my dark brown stuff, including my dark brown Courtney Fryes. I've been working with a small rotation for a few months and now I feel like I have many more combinations.
