It’s nice to look down and see something pretty too!</p> <p>Angie, the crazy pants are the velvet ones because they are pleated and high waisted. A year ago I’d have said I’d never wear that kind of thing. The checked pants are also super though. You said it’s a great pants season and you’re right. My eye for pants and jeans silhouettes has really evolved as a result.</p> <p>Bijou and Lisa - you are both very kind. I am glad I gave the blazer a second look and got it on popback. I wish it had been earlier in the season, though - by the time I return from my trip it may be too cold to wear it much. It’s more a stand-alone piece, not something to layer over. NOTE: I tried to have these hemmed to a good height for my ankle boots, but the tailor made them slightly shorter than what I showed her; I had the right boots with me. Now I feel like the length is neither here nor there unless I wear flat shoes. Should I shorten them a little more so that they can be the new trendy full length with 1-inch heel boots?</div><div><br /> </div><div>9-10. Crazy eyes again! Anthro sweater, AT metallic side stripe jeans, Naturalizer metallic booties.</div><div><br /> </div><div>11. It was too cold to wear this jacket out but I am showing it off.&nbsp; Angie got this at NAS but I didn't covet it until I saw the photos of it a few times - the stock photo didn't do it for me. I got it on extreme sale popback. Rest of outfit - magic BR sweater, J Crew jeans and tartan Docs.</div><div><br /> </div><div>12. Crazy pants alert! These are high-waisted, <b>pleated</b> velvet pants from Madewell. What is WRONG with me? Yet, I was comfy and happy in them. Not sure if they're flattering, not sure if I cared either way. I wore them with hi-top Keds and the magic BR sweater. NB: The black sweater's cuff whose cuff is unraveling probably because of the metal mesh watch band I was using, which gets caught on my knits. That band is now retired for the winter. I am sure the cuff can be mended but *sob*<br /> </div><div><br /> </div><div>13. Today is slightly milder and I never got to wear this jumpsuit earlier in the fall due to a broken zipper. Paired with AT cardigan and the old Eccos, both of which make it a little festive more festive, hopefully.<br /> </div><div></div></p>
