We are taking trains and the subway as well as walking and my feet are fine. I just got back and it started raining again. It was 70 degrees and the raincoat was for the light rain we had yesterday. My lightweight cotton shirt didn't keep me warm in the air-conditioned museum, and the scarf (it's very lightweight, too) helped. I saw lots of raincoats and scarves out yesterday, and Nikes and other sport shoes, especially in black, were very popular. It was a bit rainy so I wore my raincoat (REI). My scarf is from Nordstroms (last year), my basic white shirt is about 5 years old, chinos from J Crew, and my shoes are Nike Air Pegasus 83 that I've worn in 8 art museums in 6 cities so far, (a young male guard in the Baltimore Art Museum even complimented me on them.) Uniqlo is right across the street from MOMA so we stopped in to check it out. I didn't find anything but DH has three new shirts. </p>
