What a great shirt! Love the print and the colour. I would also love to see the full length of the outfit but it looks good. Others have mentioned the sleeve length and little tweaks like that are what can 'make' an outfit. Looks good.

Love this print! It does have a sense of humor, but it's still modern and subtle. You could scrunch the sleeves, if alterations are difficult. Also, sometimes just moving the button over on the cuff can make the sleeve fit better on your wrist, so they don't slide down.

Blue and back is one of my favorite combos!

Hi - cute shirt indeed ! It does look a little on the big side on you.....and if you're looking for a little polish and refinement in an outfit , would you wear it with a longer skirt or pants? A plain black ponte knit knee length skirt , boots, and this shirt with an interesting necklace would make a great alternative. Mini skirt doesn't read professional to me. But depends on the environment , I know

I agree with Jenn -- alterations are in order to give you a better fit.

Nice color on you!

I definitely need more practice in taking photos!

The shirt sleeves are indeed too long - even cuffed. I think I'm so used to it happening with different clothes, i don't even notice it's a problem.

And a necklace would be a good idea, thanks.

I love the print on that shirt, and I think the semi-tuck was a great idea. That kind of print is perfect for adding the fun, quirkiness you're looking for.

It looks like the top might be a little big on you, or at least the arms seem longer than they should be? Upping your standards for fit will help with the polish/refinement.

Also, do you wear jewelry? A necklace would look nice with that open neckline!

Most of us here are trying to refine and improve, so I relate to that!

I like the print on the top. I wish your WIW included legs and feet/shoes, but it's a process and I for one still haven't found the best way to take pics.

So I'm trying to improve and refine my style. I'm already comfortable and coordinated, but I also want to be more polished, refined and modern. And I enjoy being quirky.

Today's business casual outfit was a new shirt with a print of houses in black and blue (2nd photo has close up) teamed with a black jersey skater miniskirt, black sweater tights and black monkstrap shoes (sorry not seen in photo). The shirt is boxy and long on my short apple figure so I had it half open with a cami underneath and semi tucked it.

I liked this selection. The shirt is quite a refined fabric, semi tucking and half buttoning added more shape. And the repeated use of black made a longer line. Now I need to think of other ways of styling the shirt.
