You polar vortex in style.&nbsp;</p> <p> </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/wiw-quadruple-burgundy-and-other-polar-vortex-outfits#post-1998969 Mon, 04 Feb 2019 22:52:44 +0000 Diana 1998969@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Here are a few outfits from last week, when we had snow and some very cold weather. &nbsp;(Not nearly as cold as other places in the US though! &nbsp;I hope everyone stayed warm!). &nbsp;</p> <p>1-2: I decided to play with tonal burgundies here. &nbsp;It's kind of hard to tell but the three items (fitted merino wool sweater, ruffled jacket, and tall shearling lined boots) are slightly different shades of burgundy. &nbsp;The sweater is more plum and the boots are slightly more brick. &nbsp;It's a subtle difference but provides some additional interest and I rather liked it. &nbsp;I did not wear my burgundy coat with this, sadly, as it was too cold for it. (I wore my grey wool trench instead.) I did, however, pop on a burgundy and grey handknit beret for outdoors, so I guess this counts as a fourth burgundy item!</p> <p>3: A handknit wool cardigan/jacket over my zebra tee. &nbsp;I like how the cables on the sweater and the zebra stripes play off of each other.</p> <p>4-5: Navy tweed moto, plaid shirt, and the burgundy boots again. &nbsp;Plus a handknit hat that I finished recently. &nbsp;I jokingly called this my "basic girl hat" because every other woman here seems to have a version of this hat (most of those are store-bought though!), and of course blush is still quite trendy. &nbsp;I love my version. </p>
