Day Vies wore a fitted top with skinnies the other day and looked really good. I often wear fitted tops (even tucked tops) with skinnies. I am small busted and short legged&nbsp;and don't have large hips; DV is larger busted and long-legged and she&nbsp;doesn't have wide hips. I bought some "slim bootcut" jeans last week and wore them a few days ago. These are easy enough because I know I need to pair them with a heel.&nbsp;<br />#1 The brown wedge sandals and brown purse are what I actually used to run errands.<br />#2 The red pumps and large clutch I just tried on the see how they looked.<br />Yesterday I wore the "fluid" blue blouse over navy&nbsp;skinnies. My thinking is that fitted bottoms require a loose top and loose bottoms require a fitted top. Does this still hold true? A lot of things that I grew up believing were fashion faux pas are now accepted. I find the pants very comfortable but I can't help worrying that they make me look like a lollipop on a stick!<br />#3 The red pumps are what I wore to my doctor appointment.<br />#4 I switched into the black loafers for a visit to the mall. Very comfortable but do they put me in the frump zone???<br />#5 Nine West suede flats that I scored on clearance at Macy's for $18. :)<br />#6 The pointy flats with the skinny jeans.&nbsp;<br />#7 I tried the blouse and shoes with the tube skirt that arrived a couple of weeks ago but have yet to wear. Hubby didn't like it but I do! I think I'll wear this for my next outing.&nbsp;The contrast shows off the irregular hem of the blouse much better than the navy skinnies did.</p>
