Keep it on the shorter side. The tucked in top here did wonders to make the long topper work over the midi at your petite height. As did heeled booties. Lots of options for toppers.<br />I agree with MaryK--if you want to be picky, I'd try to get just one "horizontal line" going with the skirt, and pick either a short top--either a tucked-in blouse or knit or a cropped boxy sweater or short cardi--or something worn longer, like a top or buttoned-up longer cardigan. I just think that would show off the skirt more and be less distracting.
