I've actually forgotten that it's winter in the northern hemisphere right now - it was 70F out yesterday and today! I was actually a bit worried about being too warm with my tights in #3.</p> <p>Greyscale - I'm not entirely sure why I wasn't happy with it. I spent so long getting dressed that day that it's possible that my frustration just bled over and I wasn't going to find myself happy with anything I put together. I think I also felt like it's a fairly standard combination for me, but I guess that's not really a bad thing. I tend to stay away from light colored tights, but it's maybe something I should experiment with.</p> <p>MuseumGal - Thanks! I love the rolled pants in #1 and that blue jacket. The dress is #2 is just delicious, with all of that architecture, and I really love the colour you used as a topper and how it's interacting with the white. Fun stompy shoes too! (I was surprised at how difficult it was to get a picture of my feet when I tried to photograph some socks I knit! hehe) I was going to suggest the same thing as Sveta-see if shortening the straps fixes the fit in the bust. I have to shorten the straps/sleeves on a lot of the dresses &amp; sleeveless tops I buy. At least it's easy!</p> <p>The 3rd outfit is actually my favourite: I love all of the colours, both alone and together, and shorts over tights is one of my favourite silhouettes.</p> <p>Your pics look good &amp; I bet once you get your tripod &amp; remote sorted, it'll get much easier. I'm still trying to get used to the camera and lighting and things like that, so my photos are still pretty bad, but hopefully they're getting better! Unfortunately, I didn't get great photos of any of the following outfits, but I figured I'd post them all together anyway to get back into the habit of posting them.</p> <p>Outfit 1:<br />I wanted to wear something bright, so I pulled out my neon yellow sweater and layered my bright blue jacket over it. Unfortunately, I failed to take pictures when it was still light out, so the colors don't really come through in the photos. The jacket is much closer to an electric blue, while the sweater is more neon yellow/chartreuse like.</p> <p>Sweater - Gap<br />Jacket - Theory<br />Boyfriend jeans - Gap</p> <p>Outfit 2:<br />I've noticed that I'm not very good at changing up what bottoms I'm wearing - I'll wear nothing but skirts for a while, and then I'll suddenly swap to shorts, and then pants. Because of this, I haven't been wearing skirts or dresses lately, but I wanted to try to mix it up a bit and break this pattern. This dress has been languishing a bit too since it was waiting to go to the dry cleaners, which I'm terrible about, but I finally took it in and got it back! Unfortunately, I think the bust is too large for me now ... I need to figure out a good way to keep it from gaping. Also, I'm not entirely sure about this jacket (which is kind of hard to see because of the way I'm holding the camera). I think it makes my shoulders look even bigger, and gives me a bit of a football player look.
