We've all heard of emotional eating...well, I indulged in emotional dressing, so be forewarned. My smallish company, having been acquired by another larger company the Monday before last, arrived to work that morning to a flurry of pink slips. Now, dodgeball was admittedly one of my favorite games back in elementary school, but I have to admit some fatigue in my 'golden' years, having dodged this particular bullet approximately 10 times. Well, 11 now it seems. Hard to lose friends you've known for 14 years and try and pick up the pieces, but so it goes...we are all, in fact, contractors. I don't expect a gold watch for 40 years served like my grandfather received.</p> <p>Speaking of gold watches...how 'bout those outfits Ann?</p> <p>Have to share my new loves, acquired at our local outlet mall last weekent. Both are HEWI for me...a light colored jacket and some mid-height moto boots with jussssst the right EVERYTHING! Picky much? Well yes, yes I am. Boots are Kenneth Cole for $60 way marked down. YESSS! Jacket is Vince Scuba lamb leather in a putty, sorta blush moto, something like 60% off. The Find is for a different color, but is equally gorgeous. Both pieces were worn multiple times this week. </p>
