Period. 1367173@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Y'all are great! &nbsp;It was such a surprise to look down the feed and see that this post had so many new comments, and all so nice! &nbsp;Thank you, everyone.&nbsp;</p> <p>The booties, how I love these booties. &nbsp;These are the fraternal twin of the&nbsp;leopard print&nbsp;pony-hair ones that I wore at the SSIF. &nbsp;They are a few years old and (surprisingly!) from Brooks Brothers. &nbsp;2 1/2" heel. &nbsp;Walkable all day. Beautiful leather. &nbsp;And they have&nbsp;a leather tassel on the back zipper, so the walk-off is great. &nbsp;I just wish I could clone them for when they wear out. &nbsp;They were featured in&nbsp;one of Angie's ensemble posts&nbsp;a few years back. &nbsp;They were marked waaaaaay down and&nbsp;I snapped them up. &nbsp;Then, a little later they were back in stock and&nbsp;Angie featured them again as a pick. &nbsp;</p> <p>(BTW, Denise, thank you! &nbsp;If I had to pick two things to be memorable for, those are perfect. &nbsp;You are such a sweetheart! I love the pointy toe on them.</p> <p>It's tough when you wear something that makes you feel so great but no one else notices, like the experience you had at work with your new jacket. I think it's just a matter of people not paying much attention to fashion or appearances in general. For example, I have a maxi skirt that I wore much of last year and received only one, maybe two, compliments all year on it. Today I wore it to my dance lesson, and two of the workers, at completely separate times,&nbsp;noticed it right away and complimented me very genuinely on it. But being in the dancing field, they are very concerned with personal appearance.
