Oh my! I'd never heard of their stuff, and I love it! Thanks for pointing me to them!

Really will go for a bra fitting my next chance to get out (might be a couple of weeks, but I'll get there!)

Check out the brand Prairie Underground if you haven't!

A bra fitting does wonders - i had one pre- and post -breast-reduction and was shocked at my actual sizes both times.

Love you in these colors. Agree on the accessories - I find less is more these days.

Thanks Jules and Angie - I completely see your point, and I agree. It's now a priority to me to upgrade to only wonderful bras. I have one. I'll go get fitted next time I get the chance, and make sure to get more. Thank you!

I like both outfits but the suggestions here are great.
I have to agree about bra shopping - it took me years but I've finally realized ALL my bras should be great bras. Ideally there should be no less-than-perfect fit bras lingering in your closet. My solution for this is that once I found the perfect bra, both how it fits my body and how it lays under clothes (no lace!), I watched for sales and bought it in multiples, in white, beige (nude for me) and black. It is the only bra I wear now. If you are on a budget, nude and black are more versatile than white IMO.
Another point about feeling "this isn't me" - your self-image will change gradually as you change your style. It means developing your own look while also growing into it if that makes sense.

Thanks rachylou - "earthy" is definitely an accurate descriptor of me (not so much in the 'save the earth' sense as in the 'I'm a wanna-be-farmer' sense), and I feel pretty at-home in 'earthy' clothes - just not sure how to wear them without also being frumpy. Thanks for the boost!

More pink for grown ups! I like both outfits, with a nod to all others observations. I *do* want to say the first look, with ALL accessories, is a distinctive style that would be recognizable in my native land (which would be Berkeley, CA - lol). "Polished Earthy" is what I'd call it (actually, I'd call it Polished Feminine Traditional Earthy, but that's too many words).

I would leave off the necklace and perhaps the belt in #1 - I love the colors and I don't think it looks frumpy. The bustline is too high in #3 - you could alter it/have it altered, but it might leave a mark or line on the fabric.
Love your color choices!

Caro, Sara Angie and Deborah - Thank you so much for the feedback! I think I can say with certainty that this is the first time I've over-accessorized. (I've only started wearing jewelry at all in the past few months) And I didn't even notice it. Thank you for calling that to my attention.

And Angie - I see exactly what you mean by the fit of the top being off. A whole lot of tops fit me like that - perhaps I should start sewing my own tops I'm trying to remember which bra I wore that day too - it was probably a 'saggier' bra - though I've noticed that even in my very best bra (which fits me perfect, but is discontinued!), most tops are cut with the bust higher than mine.

Thanks for wearing pink for BCAM :)

#1 has the makings of a nice look. To Caro's point, leave off the necklace. Those look like great trousers!

#3 has great potential. The elements are spot on, but the fit of the top is off. That cut line should rest under the bust, not on the bust. It's cut too short for your bust line. Does that make sense?

Well done! You are getting there.

I like all the shades of purple in #3. I also like that shade of dark pink with the brown in the first outfit. I think maybe the necklace could be left off and the outfit would look a little cleaner.

I would like to see the first outfit without some of the accessories - I feel the belt, earrings & necklace make for too many points of interest. I'd also try rolling the jeans a little & add a big watch or bangle???? I love those colours on you.

Pic #1-2 Pink shirt with brown pants, belt and necklace (and jacket). Worn to church. I felt like "me" in it, but wonder if it was maybe a bit frumpy? (I've noticed that most things that feel like "me" are - It's a mini identity crisis - when I look polished, I think "this isn't me" - does anyone else have this problem?).

Pic #3 Trying the MOTG skinnies-long sleeved t shirt-scarf formula. I liked it, even though I feel a bit like I over did the berry shades by wearing maroon booties with the purple top. Oh well.

Thoughts? I LOVE suggestions for improvement - your ideas won't occur to me naturally , so suggest away.
