I like your pattern mixing. Fun and unique-looking necklaces--they may look even better on a simple pullover/top without collar.

Looks great - I think the stripes work well with the plaid and never would have thought of it on my own. I love your eclectic sourcing!

Works for me! In line with what Liz said, I feel like the white stripes sort of match up which helps the eye move from one to the other.

Tactile. I like. Does this work because the plaid patterns are about the same size but the textures are very different? Nice necklaces.

I've somehow wound up with some patterns in my closet this fall. So, I decided to try pattern mixing today. My first priority today is comfort, hence the soft long layers over pants with room for dessert lol.

I think the pattern mixing works since both have light grey, and the Plaid is pink with wee bits of burgundy, while the cardigan is burgundy. I almost did grey pants, but decided I liked the tan better for these boots so the bottom half of me just blends in (low contrast) and lets the patterns be the star.

Plaid shirt: actually a night shirt from Cato (so soft and comfy) but I wear it as a tunic
Hooded cardigan: Walmart, of all places
Harness boots: cabelas
Pants: see find
Necklaces: purchased from Chickasaw artisans at the annual tribal gathering. I learned the story behind each but cannot remember the story behind the round one. The beaded one is the corn maiden.
Shades: unknown, but I they've gone unclaimed at my work for almost a year so I took them home lol
