I had to clean up to teach voice at to some private students at home, so I decided to put Angie's black dress / earthy accessories formula to the test.</p> <p>Dress: new, Merona for target (see closeup of asymmetrical neck). This is easy and cool.</p> <p>Old, woven, mixed-tone belt, worn higher in back and draped to front (this covers the extra bit in the back of my waist, but doesn't shorten my torso).</p> <p>Sandals: Merona for Target (2012)</p> <p>Thrifted cuff and old hammered gold(ish) earrings</p> <p>Thrifted straw bag</p> <p>I am not an earth tone gal, and I've been avoided black since I broke my 90's addiction to it. Let's just say that "black pants plus bright top" wasn't a formula to me -- it was crack! I'm easing back in, here! Feedback and suggestions are welcome! </p>
