It also goes with any color blouse you can imagine -- black/cream plus a pop of color in the blouse. </p> <p>As for shoe alternatives, I think taupe would work quite well with this. Any nude shoe would've worked, for bookending effect, and in fact that's how I frequently wear this skirt in warmer months. Black shoes would definitely work; I've done that as well (black tall boots in winter).
