I took a larger handbag to carry items needed for the outing, instead of a crossbody. The gray linen-blend pants are from Gap years ago and rescued from the&nbsp; maybe-toss pile when it appeared they worked as well as anything newer I'd seen.&nbsp;<br />Upon review this would have been a good time for&nbsp; sneakers for juxtaposition of sporty with the more tailored elements, which I like to do, but I wanted to test out&nbsp; the loafers, which are "getting small" but still wearable and walkable for such an outing, it seems.</p>
