But honestly, I love every colour. :)  Those taupe boots would have been exactly up my alley with dark blonde hair. I stlll own and wear a pair of taupe boots. Taupe works with grey hair, not so much as a bookender, but almost -- if the taupe is soft enough it sort of blends in. It's also my version of "earth tone."
